M. 1815 Battleground Ave. Phone BR 2-2067 BY JEANIE DEESE It’s amazing! Unbelievable! As tounding! There are advantages to taking algebra! So say two seniors who (back in the dark ages of their sophomore days) met in an algebra class. They got acquainted, but at that point things came to a halt until December of their junior year. They then began to \ date regularly but still dated oth er people. If you happen to know any cute, funny couple, then you’re well on your way to guessing the identity of this week’s couple. Miss X con siders Mr. X funny, and he thinks she’s cute. Each agrees that the other is very sweet and under standing—sometimes! They say they have numerous fights over numerous subjects. These two cute, funny, sweet, understanding people date in a black ’57 Chevrolet, sometimes doubling with Marion Dixon and' Lind Kirksey. Mr. X can usually j be seen with Steve Oliver or | Marion, and Miss X’s closest friends are Ruth Ennis and “any of the L.S.P.’s.” She is also inj band and FTA. Miss X kinda’ has to watch her step. It seems that Mr. X is serjeant-at-arms af the G-30’s! With summer coming up, they’re both looking forward to playing tennis and doing some target prac tice with Mr. X’s rifle at his lake. Both of them enjoy steak suppers, and strangely enough, Mr. X is the “cook” of the couple. He must like his cooking, ’cause Miss X fusses that he eats too much, to which Mr. X says she flirts too ! much! When he can take time from his hobbies of hunting and shooting pool, our couple enjoys going to the movies and out to the Castle, Current musical favor ite is “Forever.” If you’re still not “in the know” look for a 5’10” blond fella es corting a 5’7” brunette (who very appropriately has green eyes) to her church. First Baptist, or to his. First Presbyterian. Bonus question: What boy do you know who will be at Carolina next year, whose girl-will be at WC? If you aren’t confused now, you never will be! Confuse Us says: Try Hall Tales! 0 Minton Heads Orchestra; Monroe Is Vice-President Anne Starr Minton and John Monroe, juniors, have been elected as next year’s president and vice- president of the Greensboro Sen ior High School Orchestra.
