C., DEC. 20, 1961 NUMBER 6 Local Representatives Meet For Conference Representatives from Senior, Page, and Curry convened at Greensboro Senior High for the annual Youth Speaks program re cently. There were four features speak ers at the conference: Reverend Charles Shannon of Grace Meth odist Church, Judge Z. H. Hower ton, Mrs. Margaret Hadden of the GHS faculty, and Mrs. Virginia Heard of the Brides and Formal Shop. They spoke on date enter tainment, drinking, job hunting, and etiquette, respectively. David McKinney, junior, was chairman of the program. Mr Hamilton recalled interest ing incidents from his early days as a newspaper reporter -to dem onstrate the similarities and dif ferences between journalistic and creative writing styles. During the first week in De- ceniber, a called meeting of Quill and Scroll was held, and the can dy for the annual candy sale was distributed.
