PROM -- Grimsley’s 1980 Prom was a success! The rain did
not dampen the fun, as many Whirlies danced to the music of
Spirit on the night of Saturday, May 17. The decorations and
formal dress added to the excitement of the evening. After
the dance, many students attended breakfasts and other
p^ies. Shown here are [clockwise] Caryn Butler, Jeff
Gilbert, David Kornegay, “unidentified” Whirlie, Scott

be very beneficial.
There should be a closer
relationship between the
SSBAG activities and the
a Student Council operations
back at the home schools.
SSBAG members should
meet on a more organized
basis at the home schools.
SSBAG meetings should
be lengthened to three hours
(9:00 am - 12:00 noon).
SSBAG representation at
School Board meetings is to
be mandatory.
Finally, SSBAG was found
to be a profitable and benefi
cial process for this school
district.
