On the last day of class of fall

Phi Alpha and Tan Epsilon Phi
(TEP) was held at the TEP house.
The celebration, named
“Apocalypse”, drew over 2000 stu
dents.
What was special about the event
was that it wasn’t a crowd of one
specific racial group. One could
see Asian, African American, and
Caucasian students mixing togeth

three fraternities, one Asian, one
African American, and one Jewish
collaborated on a huge success.
During the exam week of fall
semester. Pi Alpha Phi invited the

Obviously having a good time and
associating with fellow Greeks is
an integral aspect of Greek life.
Social chair Sang Shin said,
“There is a diverse population on
campus and we should take advan

The fraternity’s active members
include a diverse and formidable
plate of talents and interests.
Many are involved in leadership
positions in other organizations
around campus and in the commu

involved in Asian organizations
across campus.
Pi Alpha Phi’s longstanding excel
lence has withheld the years,
standing tall through turmoil and
societal issues concerning Asians
and Greeks.
Current president of the fraternity,
Hans Choe, said he believes that
the arrival of Pi Alpha Phi at
Carolina ushers a new life that also
retains its values.
“We have come a long way and
accomplished tasks we could not
possibly imagine...brotherhood
will remain as our immutable bond
in the goals to strengthen our pil
lars in this university,” Choe said.
