Page 13 AC Phoenix, December 1988 1988 AC Phoenix Senior Citizen Of The Year C.E. Graham, 90, is the 1988 AC Phoenix Senior Citizen of the Year. Graham was cho sen by the AC Phoenix staff because he exem plifies the attitude and values that we want to live by. Mr. Graham, who still cuts hair at Graham Brothers Barbershop, at 220 E. 4th St. daily, al ways has a kind word or words of wisdom for all that sit in his chair. He is not only a barber, he Is a listener, a philosopher, a counselor and some one you can call a dear friend. C.E. Graham is a firm believer in education. He often talks about sending all eight of his children to college. He oftenends this saga by telling that seven of the eight received a de gree. The one that did not graduate was drafted into service close to the time he would have completed his curriculum. Mr. Graham is a mem ber of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where Dr. Serenus Churn is pas tor. Mr. Graham, who drives a '57 Chevy, credits long life to good clean living and hard work.
