Phoenix People's Voices:
Politicians always promise to clean up the
neighborhoods and improve the quaiity of
iife in the community. What would you want
to see done?
Anthony Barrow
We should work together to
help those who are less fortu
nate. Develop community
watch for our people of all ages
including our kids, regardless
of their nationality or creed and
encourage one another if we
want a better community in
stead of condemning. No one
is perfect.
James McCorKoe
Lifestyles have changed so
much. We need some kind of
organizations or groups that
would Involve adults and chil
dren where everyone could
express themselves, so we can
Improve and cater to each
other according to our needs in
our neighborhood.
Patricia Sheppard
Times have changed. People
are not close any more because
of the fast pace of life, our dif
ference of direction, and the
economic changes. We have
different lifestyles, and people
are skeptical of each other.
People need some kind of
common interest to draw each
other together so we can famil
iarize ourselves with our
neighbors.
Geraldine Green
I think that the neighborhood
should be kept up neater and
cleaner than it is now and stop
all the kids from hanging
around in front of Burger King.
They need to find a place just
for young people to hang out.

We should pull together as
sisters and brothers. We need
to stop looking down on people
for what they are and to accept
them for what they are about.
Carrie Wilkes
I have very nice Christian
neighbors. The neighborhood
has grown since I moved into it.
People should practice
Christianity more often. We
need a sidewalk for the young
and older people. Overall, my
neighborhood is splendid.
