and encourage you with words of love, faith, hope, and peace.
The poems for this issue of the A C Phoenix are “ Walk On
Through” and “Wrong Place”. May they touch your heart, offer
you love, and minister to your soul.
Walk On Through

I was sitting in ...the congregation one day....
When I heard a preacher...get up and say...
it’s necessary that...we keep on walking through....
Whatever life’s situations...bring to you.
Whatever situations...that you may face...
You must continue walking...to endure this race...
This race of heartaches...that it may bring....
No matter how difficult...the walk may seem.
You must continue...to walk on through...
If you expect God...to deliver you...
Deliver you from...the situation you are in...
For He’s the only one...to whom you can depend.
For people will come...and go in your life....
And there are even people...who enjoy causing strife...
But if you just keep...keep walking through...
God will surely...surely bless you.
Bless you through... in the midst of the storm...
Though the enemy may try...to create you harm...
Create harm to make...you stop walking you see...
As he attacks you trying...to get the victory.
Trying to get the victory...to make you stop...
Stop and look back...like the wife of Lot...
But don’t you stop...walking through...
If you expect God... to deliver you.
Deliver you from...the storms that may arise...
Walk on through...without compromise....
Without compromising...the God you know...
For this walk will...allow you to grow.
Allow you to grow...as you are walking through...
All that life...may bring to you...
Walk in faith...and know that God is...
The solution to all... of life’s ordeals.
Life’s ordeal that... you have to face...
As you continue walking...to endure the race...
Don’t think the walk...will be easy you see...
For if it was easy...we wouldn’t need Thee.
Thee who is able...to get you through...
All the things you felt...you weren’t able too...
Weren’t able to endure...for they were too hard....
But never stop walking...for God is large.
Large enough... to bear your pain...
As you continuously walk through...but remain....
Remain in the will...of God you see...
As you walk and expect...the victory.
Though people may lie...and confront you...
On issues that are...unfamiliar to you...
But keep on walking...don’t you stop...
For God is who...it’s all about.
It’s not about the situation....nor the past...
Know that God has a love...that can last...
Can last to walk...all the way with you...
No matter what you...are going through.
Walk and not stop...walk but stay...
Focused on God...and His way...
Though tears may come....don’t give up...
For God is the Master....of the cup.
The cup of life...He has given you...
He is aware of all...that you are going through...
Take the walk...and don’t look back...
God will fight your battles...and that’s a fact
A fact that He will...walk you through...
All the situations...that you never knew...
Walk on in the midst...of the pain...
God will heal and...God will sustain.
God will sustain you...through your trials...
And comfort and console you...all the while....
Though it may seem...you will not last...
Take your burdens to Him...and to Him cast.
Cast them all...on God you see...
As He allows you to walk...to victory...
So don’t stop walking...don’t you dare...
Know that God...will get you there.
So walk this race...with all of your might...
Know that God will...fight all your fights...
Get you to a place...of peace you see...
Allowing you to get...the victory.
