Jones, Teacher The children in room 18 have been reading and studying about animal circus. We made a circus in our room. We put the animals on parade. Last week we Went up town to see another kind of parade. We saw clowns, majorettes and there were many bands on par ade. We saw cars, trucks, trac tors and some of them were de corated very pretty. We hope we will be able to see an animal 1 parade very soon. In books we learn To read the words. That tell of animals and birds. Payne, Teacher We have 16 boys and 19 girls in our class. We are enjoying school. We have fun talking about our pets, and we are mak ing a large pet book. We do many things in school. Eisbey, Teacher The children in room 20 gave a short program in the chapel last week. We said some autumn poems and sang some autumn songs. We said some safety poems and sang safety songs. We enjoy trying to do better than each other. The captain of the Reds is David Pur year and the captain of the Blues is John Evans. Boyd, Teacher Our third grade students en joy reading and learning poems and so much so that we have decided to learn one each month. For the month of September, we learned “In September”, for October, we learned “Come Lit tle Leaves”, and for November we have learned “Why I Like November”. They found out that trees are the most satisfactory topic to discuss. The children are delighted in bright colors. They have collect ed them.
