Send News for the April Issue to Personnel Office before April H. Devotional Thoughts Methuselah lived nine hundred and sixty nine years. It would seem natural that anyone living such a length of time would do much for his fellowmen, and so ciety as a whole. According to the Bible, Methuselah never did anything for the betterment of so ciety. During these years he lived and begot sons and daugh ters and died. Thousands of years after the death of Methuselah, in the city of Bethlehem, was born a lowly Nazarene. This man was born of a virgin in an ox stall and He lived thirty three and one half years, and during those years He became not only the center of the Bible, but the center of world history. Yes, this man, Jesus Christ the son of God, in the length of time he spent on earth, went about doing good things. He healed the sick, raised the dead and cast out demons. Al so, in His lifetime He changed man’s opinion toward God and men. When He died on the cross He tasted death for every man and brought peace between God and sinful man. Now, when we compare the years of Jesus with Methuselah and consider what they both did during their life-time we reach the conclusion that it isn’t how long one lives, but ft is what one does while he lives. So it isn’t how long we may live but what we do for our fellowmen and the betterment of society. Ask yourself these two ques tions: Am doing anything to make the world a better place in which to live? Is my life a blessing to my fellowmen? May I challenge you by the life of our Lord whose life has blessed all mankind, to pattern Births Craiff Lanaz Cobb Mr. and Mrs. James Cobb an nounce the birth of a son, Craig Lanaz, born February 20, at Park View Hospital.
