Vol.23 No.1 Fall 2000
Message From The President
I want to thank each one of you for giving me the opportunity to serve as President of
our Association for the coming year. I look forward to working with the Officers, Board of
Directors, and the various committees. One of the goals I hope to accomplish is to
Increase our membership. Each of you can help by telling those at your individual
colleges about our association and encouraging them to join us. If you are Interested in
learning more about our organization or wish to serve In some capacity, please contact
me, Floyd Horton, President-Elect, or any member of the Board of Directors.
The theme for our Fall Conference is “Join Our Quest To Be The Best. Cora Brewington,
Conference Chair and Linda Spencer, Vice Chair, along with the conference planning
committee have worked very hard In putting together an excellent array of workshops
that will surely prove to be the best conference ever. Plan to join us September 27-29 at
the Sheraton Four Seasons in Greensboro and take advantage of the professional
development opportunities.
To serve as your president for 2000-2001 is an honor and I encourage you to provide
any feedback that will assist me in this role. You, the membership, are the key to
carrying this association into the new millennium and beyond. I am looking forward to
seeing each of you in Greensboro.
