Following introductory remarks by Mr. Harriss, who acted as mas ter of ceremonies, Mr. Morison led the group singing of Christmas Carols with accompaniment by Mrs. Henry V. Koonts, guest or ganist. Next followed the drawing of prizes which included five turkeys and a twenty-five dollar war bond. Turkeys were won by Lula Wade, Alice Chappel, D- A. Goodman, Rufus Marsh, and Raeford Miller, and the war bond went to Donald Gibhardt. Frankly Pat Welborn’a hat was the prize of the day, and very becoming to Mr. Morehead, too.
