Let All Work Togetber- If we eucoeed In getting a railroad through Jones countv byway of Tren ton, ita county Mat, we must hsve una nimity of action in tbe matter- The first and foremoat consideration of alt the good people of the county should be the importance of building np It* oounty seat. Iu proportion as this la done to the seme extent will prosperity prevade the eutire oounty. Here our courts meets, here tbe officials of the oounty meet to transact its business. The people from all sections of the oouoty are drawn to Trenton because of business engagements, that oaonot be transacted anywhere else. Henoe the importance of making the county seat the center of attraction. Bnild It up and yon Atonce haven convenient mar ket for all your produce. Instead of selling your eggs at 5 and 6 cents a doaeu you will get a price equal to that paid by Newberne or Kinston, and the prices of everything else you have to eell will advanoe in proportion. If you want high prices you must create a demand, and that can only be done by increasing the consumers. We hope no selfishness wilt creep Into the minds of any one. that is, to saorlflce the good that would accuse to tha great majority of our people, because we prefer the road to “run by or through my plan tation for my convenience." Lee all the citizens of Junes county put their ■boulders to the wheel with bnt one determination, and that in, to get a road, if possible, from Kinston byway of Trenton to connect at some point on the W N. and N. road. A Remarkable Cure of Chronic Diar rhoea. In 1862, when I served mv Country as a private in Company A, 167th Penn* sylvenia Volunteer*, I contracted chronic diarrhoea. It bas given me a groat deal of trouble ever since. I have tried a dox*n different medicines end several prominent doctors without any permanent relief. Not long ago a frieud sent me a sample bottle ol Chamberlain’s Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy, and after that I nought end took a 50 cent bottle; and now 1 can eav that I am entirely cured. I cannot be thankful anmgh to yon for this great Remedy, and recommend xt to all suffering veterans. If in doubt write me. Yours gratofullv, Henry Steigubsrger.
