May I take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation to all
who have helped in any way with the operation of the Smithfield Schools
durint the year that is drawing to a close?
Whatever access the schools have had is due'to the splendid co^
operation received frcM all concerned — students, teachers, parents, the
PTA, the local school committee, the county school board, the' county
superintendent and his office personnel, the helping teachers, the
maintenance departments of the schools, the lunchroom personnel, the
janitors, the various organizations of the town and coMnunity, and Tnany
individuals who might not fall into the above named groups. For the
fine co-operation and attitude shown by everyone, I am indeed grateful.
