Mary Ann Stallings congratulations, DIANA BESS 11 Diana Bess Montgomery, sophomore, has been notified that she is one of the two young soloists who have been selected to appear with the N, C. Symphony during the coming concert season. Seven contestants tried for the honor at the audition held at Chapel Hill, U,N.C,, October 19, Nancy Lassiter, a 1955 and 1957 soloist with the Orchestra, played the orchestral accompaniment at a second piano at the audition.
