CHRISTMAS THOUGHTS AT SHS
Big gifts, little gifts, fun gifts,
and many, many more are around the tree.
But the greatest gift that all the world
shares is sometimes forgotten. Yet, that
gift is and will always be the best gift
anyone could receive.
At the time this small package
arrived, no one could tell that this baby
wrapped in old cloth could save the
world. Yes, we must never forget this
gift. This gift that God gave to all -
Jesus Christ,
Cheryl Kistler
In this world moving at such a
rapid pace, I am afraid we are losing
the real meaning of Christmas. Christmas
should be a season of rejoicing because
of the humble birth of our Lord and
Saviour, Jesus Christ. If we are not
careful, we are prone to use Christmas
as a means of our own selfish gains

The"Spirit of Christmas" is a wonder
ful thing. You cannot put your finger
on it, but somehow you know it is there.
Everyone you know, as well as people you
don’t know, is sharing this feeling with
you. Thus, this "Spirit of Christma.s"
binds an inseparable friendship,

Vlho am I? I love to give and make
people happy, I enjoy doing things to
make the lives of others more pleasant.
Business men and merchants have tried
to commercialize me but they can’t fully
succeed, I shine through to people in
church and at home during quiet moments
on Christmas Cay, Who am I? I am the true
Christmas Spirit,

When you hear the word "Christinas"
what first comes to your mind? Santa
Claus? Toys? Food? Parties? Don’t we
often seem to overlook the real reason
for even celebrating this holiday? This
Christmas, will you leave out Christ?

The sparkling eyes of a little boy .
as he sees Santa for the first time, the
wreaths of holly and evergreens, the good
smell simmering from Mama’s kitchen, the
peace and joy that can be seen in each
Christiam’s face, that urge to help some
one else - if you see these signs, you
know it’s Christmas!

Does Christmas to you mean getting a
vacation out of school, receiving presents
and having lots of fun? Have you and I
forgotten the real meaning of Christmas?
Christmas is the date of the birth
of Christ. Let’s try to remember this
truth and make it a better Christmas.
