THROUffl THE YEilRS
The close of the 1961—62 school year
ends the hi^ school career of our grad
uating seniors, Throu^ the years, we
have collected many cherished memories -
our first impressions, getting adjusted
to the new daily routine of changing
classes, imstering the new field of Latin
and algebra. How we canvassed the town
for subscribers for our sophomore maga
zine sale! How we prepared to get our
drivers* licenses! When we realized that
our junior year had approached, our hearts
leaped up at the thought of the Junior-
Senior, the junior play and attending
College and Career Day activities.
Finally came "The” year with the reali
zation that some of us had not taken
advantage of our opportunities a,s we
should have and much had to be done in
order to share in the senior tradition -
class rings, graduation invitations,
caps and gowns, and a diploma.
It is with mixed emotions that we
come to the close of our high sctool
days. Intermingled with our memories
are the spaces in air hearts filled with
love for those idio have helped prepare
us for molding our future.

*62,
To Carol Ann Wickham, this year's
editor of the Hjgih Times, I would like to
extend my deepest appreciation for her
kindness and help to me, as well as the
other members of her staff, as we worked
together attempting to publish a school
•paper the students would be proud of.
Many things go into the ma.king of a good
paper and Carol Ann has certainly put
forth her best as editor of the 1962
High Times. Your staff thanks you and
wishes for you the successful future
you so richly deserve.
