SEASON»S GREETINGS!:
paper.
As you have already noticed, this issue has been printed on green
We hope you like the diversion.
It has been our aim to present to you something a little different
^d something more. Because Christmas means so much to so many people, we
put a little bit of everything inside.
Two original poems from English III in the style of Edgar Lee
Asters have been selected, I. C. All, a super sage whose powers of obser-
"Nation extend even beyond those of Ima and Irma Snoop, answers the questions
that the underclassmen wanted answered in the last issue. We have pre
sented the impressions of new students and impressions of the seniors by
the freshmen.
Two contrasting views of the Christmas Spirit are e:3q)ressed by
^'ranees Bingham, our regular columnist, and by Freddy Hamilton.
We have added our share of fun and humor—expressed in the form
sf "VJhat Do You Want for Christmas" and related articles, as well as in a
Christmas puzzle *
We have obtained two examples of a more thoughtful, introspective
feeling: "Special Starlight?*, a poem by Carl Sandburg, and "An Angel", a
short story by one of our freshmen, Barbara Baker•
Art work greatly enhances this issue. We thank the following
Members of the staff who helped with the art work; Mary Sanders, art editor5
