SiyilTHFIELD HTfrH TTMKS PAGE 13 Dear Modinoj Last week I broke my boyfriend®s leg -wtien he stood me up. Now he won't date me. What can I do? Cassia Clayburn Dear Cassia, Break the other leg, and he'll never stand you ^ again! Moding Gunch Dear Modine, I feel terribly insecure. I want to join a club, but I can't until my family tree is checked to see if my ancestors are from the socially acceptable. What can I do to find out about them? Wanda Woo ^ear Modine, I have a very pleasant problem. 1 have been dating two very good-looking ^oys. I like them both equally. My problem is that both of them have asked to go steady. IMA AND IRI4A Dear Wanda, If I were in your shoes, I'd Invent a family tree that included Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria, 'James I, 'James II, etc. Your club may not believe you. If not, have the president of the club beheaded. That should get 2^esults i Modine Gunch Well, "hello again! Now, let's see what's been happening to all our SHS students lately. The seniors finally got their rings after weeks of waiting. I hear Kathy Batten was getting a little anxious about them, and she's only a junior! Do you know anything about that, Larry Ray? I hear Judy Benson has changed to "Griffin” shoe polish and that Jimmy Griffin has taken a sudden interest in "Benson”. Can anybody figure that one out? I hear Bradley Carroll has had a time trying to make up his mind. Hey, Bradley, someone said that Chris Jordan has made hers up. What do you think of that?! Ann Sloan, do you and Warren Grimes remember the haunted house that wasn't so haunted? I hear Janet Shallcross is making pretty good grades in Latin. She really goes for those Woodard men. However, not everything goes so peacefully. Winnie Simmons can throw a mean left hook, can't she, Don Pittman? Now, Heath Yarborough, why didn't you go to Gwyn's party? She was so upset when you didn't show up! You should have seen the look on her face. J heard Justine Blow had so many beaus 'she didn't know i^o to take to Don-Lee, so she went alone. Speaking of Don-Lee, I heard the pier was the center of interest. Seems the Methodist really believe in "fellowship”. Mr, Flojrd, is it true that you aren't considering giving up your "Coats” even with the hot siammertime on the way? I hear you and Helen had a blast at the beach with the Baptists. Well, we'll let you all rest this summer, because this is the last edition of Volume 29 of the HIGH TIMES, but we'll be resting too, to be ready to gossip in September. Bye, seniors— we'll miss you. The rest of you, bye until September. Do hope this suminer is the greatest yet for you all. Fondly, Ima and Irma Snoop
