Anyone or any organ ization having an upcoming event The Iredell Ffvends of the Library recently donated surplus books to the Molly McKay Children’s Center, which is a part of Fifth Street Ministries. The books will be used to help with after-school assis tance volunteers provide at the Center. The books come from pub lic donations the library receives that aren’t noodod for circulation. Such donations are placed in the Friends book cart at the front of the library, or shared with the IredeU-StatesviHe schools, the Fourth Creek Rotary Club, or area community protects such as the MoNy McKay Center. Addition to the Trey Pharr Story When we ran the very moving story of Trey Pharr in die Nov. 20 edition of the Iredell Citizen we neglected to include one very, very important person — his grandmother Mary Helen Walker of Statesville, who is the wife of Dr Harry Walker whom we did mention.
