Ernst Wollm. Sr., preceded her m death. She was the first secretary of Nortfaview aiy School and served there fir 26 years. She was an active mem ber of Broad Street United Methodist Church, a visitor to shut-ins. and a volunteer at Davis and Iredell Mr—trial Hospitals. She was a member of the Widowed Krsons Organization, served as treasurer fir the Association of Retarded Citizens and was active in the Retired School Secretaries' Association. Survivors include three sobs. Ernst George Wollm. Jr.. James T. Wollm and Charles F. Wollm; a daughter. Martha W. Carpenter, six grandchildren, one great-grandson, a sister and a sister-in-law. Funeral services were conducted at Broad Street United Methodist Church. Buna! was m Oakwood Cemetery. Bom in Caldwell County, he was the son of John Henry Coles and Martha Patterson Coles. He was an active member of * Memorial United Methodist Church in Lenoir: He worked as a track driver for Lenoir Mirror and Broytnll Industries. He a survived by his wife. Julie Ferguson Cotes, and a number of nieces and nephews, Sonces were conducted at Snath Memorial llmaed Methodist Church in Lenoir. He was the owner and opera tor of Basic Machine Works and was a grad uate at' North Iredeil High School. In to his patents, he is survived by his wife, Jeanne Bowers Hamby; a step-son, Scott Allen McCreary ; a step-danghtex; Amanda Lynn McCreary; two grandchildren and his maternal grandmother; Mamie Ricky Lee Hamby.
