Maggie Shoobridge IREDELL CITIZEN The Iredell County Public Library hosted a mother/daugh ter tea social recently featuring the book series “American Girls” and “Girls of Many Lands.” Many of the young ladies were in costume not unlike the dolls and books on display. Refreshments were served and books were read. iMWWW Girls from many lands are Kylee Jones, Sarah Lewis, Chaunte’ Durand, Faith Jones, Lydia Taylor, Leandrie Durand, Raina and Emily Taylor. Bob Plyler/CITIZEN 1 Local students put down paper and pencils recently when they joined photographer Chuck Adams for a photo workshop. Sponsored by the Children’s Museum of Iredell County, the young photo bugs turned their point and shoot cameras at the Heritage Site on Museum Road. Adams, kneeling, is shown with students Rena McKay, Cody Singleton, Rhyne Waldrop, Cane Waldrop, Patricia Brown, Kevin Arrington, Hayden Arrington, Allison Hopkins, April Hopkins, Angel Johnston, Alex Johnston and Madison Home.
