Moscow Circus Comes
to Civic Center Nov. 18
The 2004 Moscow Circus is com
ing to the Statesville Civic Center,
Thursday, Nov. 18, for two shows
for both children and adults. The
show has performers from around

acrobats, aerial ballerinas and
comedy routines.
The only animals in the ring are of
the human variety. The “fast
paced, high-energy circus of the
future” is called a cross between

al Ringling Bros, and Bamum &
Bailey Circus.
The show is highlighted by the
mother-daughter team of Rietta
and Lyric Wallenda, the grand
daughter and great-granddaughter
of high-wire legend Karl
Wallenda. “It’s going to be great,”
said Lee Cauble, Statesville Civic
Center director. “There will be
something for everyone; and
because it’s a very upscale show,
we expect an excellent crowd.”
Tickets are $20 for adults and
$7.50 for children under 12. For

for children are available, call the
Civic Center at 704-878-3493 or
