IREDELL CITIZEN
The oysters roasted, the
Brunswick stew was tasted and the
appetizers, desserts and salads
were eaten. All the while the Misty
River Band played, dancers
danced and the “Theme Baskets of
Delight” were raffled off. Profits,
somewhere between $2,500-3,000,
went to help build the Gordon
Hospice House.
Trinity Episcopal Church was the
place this year, last year and will
be next year in case you missed
one or the other. The entire church
pitches in, providing food, cook
ing, cleaning and eating, with Don
Johnson, chairman of the outreach
committee, at the helm.
