Chapman PW®G!5,l?02!SfiS Dear Ms. Cleo: I raise bees and I have noticed something quite odd. My bees are not coming back. I have fewer and fewer bees all the time. My hives are down in numbers consistently over the past several years. I’ll bet I don’t have half the bees I had just three years ago. As you know, bees have a wonderful sense of smell. I have a theory and need to know what you think or where I should take this to get my question answered. I believe the government is luring my bees away from me and they are using them to sniff out weapons of mass destruction. I have written the Department of Defense and have heard nothing. Should I take this further? Bees are Gone Dear Bees, I’d take it clear to the County Agricultural Department! Heck, maybe even check with the Sheriff. You know, I’ve seen swarms of bees hovering over 1-77. Maybe that’s how they recognize those cars with all the illegal substances in them! Never thought of that. If you have any questions for Cleo write her at P.O. Box 1221 Statesville, NC 28687 or e mail editor@iredellcitizen.com. There is no need to use your name unless you want to.
