Inc., request to rezone 1.89 acres
on Jillians Lane in Davidson from
residential agricultural to single
family conditional use district.
The lot will be divided into three
lots.
• Approved EWD, Inc., request
to release 1.43 acres of land at
Pinnacle Lane, Mooresville,
home of Exit 36 Grill and
Billiards Restaurant, to the Town
of Mooresville.
• Approved the Iredell-Statesville
Schools capital outlay budget
amendments.
• Approved the Recreation Department
annual lease agreement with
Doug Bess for the North Iredell
Park for agricultural use.
• Approved the Recreation
Department’s annual Camp
Iredell School Bus lease for June
11 - Aug. 18.
• Approved the Facility Services
three-year service/maintenance
contract for the DSS elevator to
Thyssenkrupp Elevator.
• Approved Stony Point VFD’s
request for a budget amendment
of $5,500 from fund balance for
the East Alexander Fire District
for operating expenses.
• Approved $49,000 so the Iredell
County Sheriff’s Department can
purchase a forensic comparison
microscope.
• Approved NC Department of
Health and Human Services for a
month-to-month lease agreement
extending from October -
December 31, 2007 for the lease
of 216 square feet of space at
the Iredell County Government
Center-South. The current lease
expires on Sept. 30.
• Approved scheduling -of FY
2007-08 budget work sessions
to take place May 21, *24 and
29 from 5:30 - 9 p.m. A public
hearing will be set for June 5 and
additional work sessions will
take place May 31, June 7 and
12. Adoption should take place
on June 19, if not before.
• Approved sending a letter
supporting the Community
Health Centers’ grant application
to fund transportation services to
New Hope, Union Grove, Eagle
Mills, Sharpesburg, Olin and
Turnersburg townships if the
grant is awarded.
• Appointed Sue Hudgins to- the
Adult Care Home Community
Advisory Committee and tabled
three others; appointed Dr. Jackie
Grigg to Mitchell Community
College Board; and appointed
Jan Comer and Jean Manall
to the Central ina Workforce
Development Board and tabled
another. Also tabled three
appointments to the Nursing
Home Advisory Committee.
• Deleted from the agenda a
presentation of a proclamation
of congratulations and praise to
Major General James B. Mallory
III; rezoning of Todd Abernathy
Construction, LLC, 14.77 acres
on Lipe Road in Troutman from
residential agriculture to general

until August; and the “Land for
