Huntersville- The Hope
House Foundation, a non-profit
organization that provides
transitional housing and support for
single women and single mothers
with children for Iredell and other
Lake Norman areas, has hired
Deborah Kingsberry as executive
director.
Kingsberry’s initial responsibilities
include overseeing the details
surrounding the opening of the
Hope House for its initial residents.
She will also oversee program
implementation, staff recruitment
and the planning and coordinating
of Hope House Foundation’s
fundraising efforts. In addition,
she will serve as the organization’s
liaison with the Lake Norman
community and work closely with
the organizations that will provide
supporting services to Hope House
residents.
Dr. Lee Beth Lindquist, a founder
of the Hope House Foundation,
said. “We are extremely fortunate
to have Deborah as the executive
director for the Hope House. With
her background and experience,
she will be an extraordinary asset.”
Deborah has over 26 years of
experience in the areas of program
administration and management,
social work and counseling with
all socio-economic and ethic
backgrounds, and organizational
development with services for
women in transition.

Northcross Drive, the Hope House
Foundation will open its first
residence, the Hope House, in late
summer. The Hope House will
welcome women from all walks
of life and offer stays of up to six
months.

BBQ and Auction Planned
The Youth Council and Missions
Committee of New Sterling ARP
Church is hosting a barbecue and
auction Saturday, April 12. The
meal will be served 4 - 6:30 p.m.
When the auction begins. Adult
plates are $6.50. Children pay
$3.25 per plate. Plates include pork
barbecue, baked beans, cole slaw, a
roll and homemade desserts.
All proceeds support New Sterling
mission trips.

turn toward Taylorsville. Go three
miles and turn left onto New
