Crenshaw Weds In Surprise Xmas Ceremony
Fearrington Leaves
School To Join Navy
Yesterday Frank Fearrington,
prominent high school junior, re
ported to Raleigh to join the
ranks of the many Chapel Hill
High School boys who have en
tered the Navy in the past two
years.
Frank, for three years, has
been a letterman and star on the
C. H. H. S. football team. Not
only has he excelled in this
sport, but he has received a let
ter in baseball.
When he played football the
second year, one day he came out
of practice with a broken leg,
and was unable to play the rest
of the season. This broken leg
brought him not only pain, but
the nickname, “Crip.”
Quite often he has been seen
in dark places, but don’t take us
wrong—we mean he was an
usher in the Carolina Theatre.
