Cole 3531 Boy Scouts Form New Type Patrol This week a Boy Scout Ex plorer Patrol will be formed. It will consists of Scout and former Scouts over fifteen years of age. Explores Scouting offers a vast program which any person inter ested in woodlore and camping would surely enjoy. The camping program includes overnight hikes, attending Scout Camporee, and possibly a week’s hike into the Western North Carolina Moun tains this summer. The first meeting will be held at 7:30 next Monday night at the Recreation Center. At the meet ing a leader will be selected who will thereafter be in charge of the groups at meetings and camping trips. Anyone desiring further in formation should see either Charles Bartlett or Bill Browne. Graduation Choir Formed A mixed choir, under the direc tion of Mrs. L. C. MacKinney, started rehearsals for graduation music this week. A varied group of musical selections have been chosen for both the Baccalaur eate service and the commence ment exercises. Fifty-eight girls and twenty-five boys signed up as being interested in helping with commencement music. The num ber will be reduced, it is thought, as a result of try-outs. The library is featuring a display of religious books and books of good will. A book list prepared by the National Conference of Chris tians and Jews has been checked against the holdings of the library here and is found with the other items on display.
