ONE DOLLAR A YEAR
From the
GRAND MASTER
Brethren:
As we begin a new year in Masonry
in North Carolina we also begin a “New
Area” in Masonry. It is best described
by our immediate Past Grand Master,
M.'.W.'.William A. Hooks: “A series of
area meetings in the State where all
Masons interested in improving them
selves in Masonry will be invited to
come for a day of down-to-earth discus
sions on the subject of Freemasonry, led
by Masons fully qualified to conduct
educational meetings on this subject.”

our Grand Jurisdiction. This means that
all Grand Lodge Officers, Past Grand
Masters’, District Deputy Grand Mas

and District Education Chairmen will
be fully utilized. These Brethren will be
conducting Area and District Work
shops for the benefit of all Lodge
Officers in our Jurisdiction. A complete
outline of this comprehensive program
will be furnished each Lodge for study
and planning.

Educational Committee. You can and

cers of your Lodge, then see that they
follow the training program for a per
iod of years as outlined by your com
mittee. This will prepare them to serve
as Master of the Lodge with compe
tency, confidence, and zeal.
I am confident if we have your full
support, this program which is sorely
