NOTE: All business sessions of the Grand Lodge will be held in MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM,
Raleigh. The sessions will be held as follows: 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M., April 16, 1974;
and 9:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M., April 17,1974.
Raleigh—Again next month hundreds of
Masons will converge here to transact the
business of the Grand Lodge of North Caro
lina. Representing 383 chartered lodges from
every corner of the state, these Masons will
give their approval or disapproval of every
proposition under consideration. They will
elect a new Grand Master and five other
Grand Lodge officers. They will approve a
final budget, deal with proposed changes in
Regulations, approve certain appointments,
render judgements on various recommenda
tions; they are and will be the main body of
the Grand Lodge and the actions they take will
chart the course of the Grand Lodge for
another twelve months.
Representatives of North Carolina’s three
newest lodges (now working under dispen-

If gasoline supply is still critical at the
time of the Annual Communication, the
Grand Lodge has made contingency ar
rangements to assist those in attendance
who experience real problems attempting
to obtain adequate gas. If it is necessary
to put these arrangements into effect, ap
propriate announcements will be made
during the business sessions.
