This building is for the Lord of Glory and every one who loves the Lord should have it well at heart. Some people seem to think that a barn is good enough for the Lord, but they want better for themselves. So we want Rev. J. M. Gage to get on the job and stay on the job until we have the job completed. We will be glad to receive any gift from any friend to help clear this amount. It is easy to raise when all help to lift the load. FAIKFIELD SCHOOL BUILDING The annex to the Fairfield High School is nearing completion. It will take the $5,811 bor rowed to finish this building. This annex will add four rooms, one room for a grade, one mu sic room, one science room and one for the li brary. Shelves and cabinet for library equip ment are being built in. The people of Fair field township have something to be proud of, comfortable opera seats in the auditorium, lights and a beautiful flower yard. Much of the success of the additional rooms has been due to the untiring efforts of Prof. J. H. Heath. --—o All eight-month schools will run their full time. Sladesville school will close Monday, April 25. Swanquarter school will close May 4. Lake Landing school will close April 27. Fairfield school will close May 25. -o SCUPPERNONG UNION MEETING The Scuppernong Union meeting will be held at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church,1 April 28-29. A splendid program has been arranged and it is hoped that not only the delegates who have been appointed go, but many others will try to attend. Mt. Pleasant Church is located three miles of Creswell. Make your plans now for attend ing. —-o Singularly beautiful is the cheerfulness of work-wearied and worried folk.
