PRUNE AND SPRAY WITHOUT DELAY
The dormant spray should be given at once un
less you have already sprayed your trees. We ad
vise that all trees on your premises of the fruit
and nut type be sprayed. This dormant spray will help
to make your trees shed and look smooth. Then every
18 days, beginning with the spray at blossom time,
should be followed for seven or more sprays. There
is perhaps someone in each community who has
studied spraying. We mention two who we know
have studied this: Captain R. W. Jones of Fairfield
and Mr. Bennie Statesbury of New Holland. Through
spraying, many nice peaches and apples are being
grown in Hyde County. Your county agent, too, will
help. Prune and spray your trees at once.

IT PAYS TO ADVERTISE
Why do hen eggs sell better than duck eggs?
For the same reason that one company gets more
business than another!
When a duck lays an egg, she simply gets up
and waddles away. No fanfare no demonstration.
But when a hen lays an egg, she cackles and
cackles, and stalks proudly around, calling attention
to her accomplishments. She knows what she has
and she advertises it.
If you have a business worth-while, advertise
your goods.
