School Will Give Spring Music Program May 5, 12 Mrs. Elaine Broadway. Miss Mabel West gave the devo tion based on the Twenty-Third Psalm. Mrs. John Sanderford, PTA pres ident, reported that the Ways and Means Committee had collected- $175 in the Red Tag Drive. She said she felt that was less than should have been collected. The drive is still underway. Funds will go toward an intercommunications system for the school. Officers for next year were elect ed as follows: Rev. Jerald Foun tain, president; Mrs. J. A. Harts- field, and Mrs. Rodney Bright, vice-presidents; Mrs. I. G. Critch- er, corresponding secretary; Mrs. Walter Keith, recording secretary; and Wilbur Todd, treasurer. Womanless Wedding S In Youngsville Friday The Senior Class of Youngsville High School will present a Woman less Wedding at 8:00 o’clock Fri day night in the Youngsville High School Auditorium. A recommendation that the PTA have only six meetings a year, in cluding a joint meeting with the high school PTA, was accepted. Mrs. Harvey Jones, Jr., chairman, Mrs. J. A. Jackson, and Mrs. J. A. Hartsfield will serve on a com mittee to decide which meeting are to be eliminated. The high school will have a similiar committee. The May Day program presented by the Wake Forest Schools will be changed for this year. Principal R. H. Forrest has an nounced that a Spring Musical pro gram will be presented in the school auditorium on May 5 and May 12. Mr. Forrest said since the high school and elementary school be came separate units, it has been difficult for the Elementary School to put on the elaborate May Day in the football stadium. Last fall the Music Department was asked to revise the program adapted to the school’s situation. The lower grades will present their program on May 5 and the upper grades on May 12.
