i The free TV, radio, and press
1 space we got on the Arts and Crafts
j Festival would have cost approxi
mately $4,000 in paid advertising.
'It drew a lot of people to.Wake
Forest who wouldn’t have come
otherwise, and it gave many local
citizens a chance to display tal
ents that no one knew about. Now,
we need to start planning some
thing else for the Spring. What
shall it be?
Think about it. Make your sug
gestions, no matter how ridiculous
or ambitious they might seem. The
man who thought up Mule Day
was probably called a nut — at
first. And the Miss America Pag
eant was a molehill in the begin
ning, but look what a mountain it
has become. What sort of Trade-
I mark can Wake Forest have?

Bigger Tuesday Catch
They say that luck runs in three’s and David proved it when he
came up with this prize 5y2 lb. bass Tuesday afternoon. He caught
it in a pond near Creedmoor. Although a beauty, it didn’t quite
measure up to his biggest, a 7 lb. one.
