Mrs. J. G. Barnes and children were the supper guests at Mrs. Eliza beth Honeycuts’s, Friday evening. Harris of Dan ville, Va., were visiting at Mr. John Bain’s Saturday and Sunday. Mr. Jack Koontz, daughter, son and wife of High Point, N. C., were week end visitors at Mr. B. W. Koontz. There was quite a bunch of new Leaksville people who went to Wash ington on the excursion last Friday •night. All reported a good time. FINISHING Mrs. Guy Richmond and little son of Leaksviile, and Mrs. Goff and little daughter of Portsmouth Va. spent Saturday evening with Mrs. M. V. Burnett. Miss Irene and Lena Benson are on the sick list this week. Mr. John Parker called on Miss Bernice Simpson Sunday night. Mrs. R. H. Simpson and children spent the week-end in the country. They report a nice time. Miss Muriel Simpson and Paul Stephen motored to Draper Sunday evening. Mr. David Alley and Clyde Brown spent Sunday at Park Springs. Mr. and Mrs. John Burgess and children, Miss Nannie Walters, Mr. Cicero Davis of Leaksviile, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Atkins and Mrs. Laurie Walters of Mayodan motored to Phospho-Lithia Sunday. They car^ ried their dinner and all reported a nice time. | Mr. Charlie Burnett of Oak Hill, Va., spent the week-end in Leaksville, calling on Miss Thelma Buckner.
