Asheville was wild with country-western dance the weekend of October 16-18 for Autumn Fest '92, and we hope you all had a chance to take a twirl or two around the floor (if you could find room!) But if you felt a little left out because you didn't know all the dances, you've got a year to get ready for Autumn Fest '93 and a lot of opportunities to try your feet at country-western dance. Southern Country Asheville offers free dance les sons-two-step, line dances, fancy couple dances-every Wednesday evening at Scandals, beginning at 8 p.m. And every Saturday evening, beginning about 9:30, western dancing is featured at O.Henry's. So pull on your boots and get out on the floor. You have no excuse!
