21 APPOINTMENTS 35 YEARS WITH OLIN Lloyd L. McGaha, chemical and casting supervisor at Olin Works, completed 35 years service on Oc tober 1. He began his career with Olin at Pisgah Forest and was transferred to Covington when the Olin Works plant started operations Transylvania Community Hospital was assured of having a renal care unit for the treatment of kidney di* sease as result of a fund drive con ducted by Local 1971 United Paper- workers International and a gift from Olin Corporation. Union mem bers raised slightly over $2,500 in their third campaign on behalf of persons suffering from kidney di sease. The Company contributed in 1956. Shown left to right are Rowland S. PELLETIER has been appointed maintenance engineer in the Maintenance Department of the Film Division plant at Pisgah Forest. Employed by Olin in Decem ber 1969. he served as a pro cess engineer in the Fine Paper and Film Group's Technical Depart ment until this transfer to Film Maintenance. Pel letier is a native of Lufkin. Texas. and graduated from high school at Rock Hill. S. C. He earned his B. S. degree in Mechanical Engi neering at Clemson University where he was captain of the rugby team. He participated in the U. S. Army's Reserve Officers Training Program for the four years he was at Clemson. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the B.P.O.E. Lodge 1768. and is a former president of the Pisgah chapter of Trout Unlimited. ADA DALTON RUDISAIL has been promoted to forelady in the Finish ing Department of the Ecusta Paper Division. Mrs. Rudisail is the former Ada Louise Dalton of Etowah and the wife of Howard L. Rudisail. a teacher at West Henderson High School and former Ecusta employee. Dating from 1941 when she joined the Ecusta Paper Corporation, her employment was interrupted twice for the birth of the Rudisails' two children. Most of her employment has been in the Finishing Department where she has worked as slitter operator, as sistant forelady and production clerk in addition to other assign ments. After completing Etowah High sohool she attended Brevard College and Miller Hawkins College at Memphis. Tenn.
