Tartt is a native of Martin, Tenn., and graduated from high school in Paducah, Ky. He was a co-op student with the Illionis Central Railroad while attending Auburn University, where he earned his B.S. degree in Indus trial Management. He is a former president of the Western North Car olina chapter of the American In stitute of Industrial Engineers. DAVID L. ROBERTSON has been appointed manager of labor re lations in the Fine Paper and Film Group. He transferred to Pisgah Forest from the Winchester Group’s Ball Powder plant at St. Marks, Fla., where he had been personnel manager since joining Olin in June 1973. He previously had ■worked as recruit ment supervisor with the State of Florida’s Division of Personnel. Ear lier work was with the Ameri can Can Co. at Fairport, N. Y., as co ordinator of employee relations, and at Tampa, Fla., as employee rela tions analyst. He graduated from high school in his native Wooster, Ohio, and earned his B.A. degree in English at Florida Southern Col lege where he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. He took grad uate studies at Rochester Institute of Technology. He served with the U. S. Army Reserves. He is a mem ber of the American Society for Per sonnel Administrators and is a former district director of the Leon County (Fla.) Career Education Ad visory Board. He also was a di rector of the Tallahassee Urban League and.served on the Tallahas see Labor Relations Committee. W. DOUGLAS BROWN has been promoted to research engineer in the Technical De ¬ partment of the Fine Paper and Film Group. He was assigned to the Storeroom after joining the Ecusta Paper Di vision in Septem ber 1951, and three years later became a tech nician in the Re search and De velopment Department. He was senior research technician at the time of this promotion. He is a native of Transylvania County and a graduate of Brevard High School. He served three years with the U. S. Navy. ^** W. LINDSEY WALTERS has been appointed a business planner in the Fine Paper He joined Olin's and Film Group. Film Division in November 1971 as planning an alyst in division administration. He became division planning analyst in 1973 and was promoted to plan ning associate a year later. He worked prev iously in Atlanta with Lockheed, Rich’s Inc. and Management Science America. He is a native of Savannah and grad uated from Georgia Military Col lege. He earned his B. S. degree in Industrial Management at Georgia Tech., his B.A. degree in Economics at Georgia State University, and his Master’s in Finance at Georgia State. W. GIBSON CAMPBELL, JR. has been appointed a business planner in the Fine Paper and Film Group. He was marketing planning spe cialist in the Ecus ta Paper Division prior to this move. With Olin since January 1967, he has served Ecusta in several capa cities as process engineer. He also has been manager of coating and roll finishing, and coating superinten dent. He worked with Virginia- Carolina Chemical Corp, and West Virginia Pulp and Paper before he was employed by Olin. A native of Rock Hill, S. C., he graduated from Hendersonville High School and Clemson University where he re ceived a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering. He is a member of the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry. ARTHUR C. WILSON, JR., has been appointed manager of financial an alysis, Film Division, in Olin Corpor ation’s Fine Paper and Film Group. He previously was senior staff an alyst in the Paper Financial Analysis Section. He became financial analyst for the Film Division in 1971, two years after joining Olin as senior cost accountant, and was appointed senior financial analyst two years later. In March 1975 he was pro moted to senior staff analyst for Ecusta. He had worked as college trainee for three summers while at tending college. A native of Brevard and a graduate of Brevard High School, he at tended Western Carolina Univers ity where he grad uated cum laude with a B.S. degree in Mathematics. While there he was a member of Alpha Phi Sigma honorary society and the Baptist Student Union. He serves in the U.S. Army Reserves.
