TWO SAFETY HONORS

The Film Division plant at Pisgah
Forest has scored double honors
for its record with safety and loss

Link, vice president and general
manager.
The plant passed the mark of
3,000,000 worker hours without
disabling injury shortly after being
chosen to represent the Fine Paper
and Film Group in corporate-wide
safety competition. This is the
plant’s second consecutive year
for “Best in Group” and contender
for selection as Olin's safest plant.

plant manager, in notification of

FROM TRADE FAIR TO QUALITY ’76
Olin’s WNC Trade Fair exhibits were
moved from the Asheville Civic
Center to show windows of the
former Pearlman’s Furniture Store
on Haywood Street where pedes
trians are giving them considerable
attention. Sharing the windows is
the exhibit of Akzona, Inc., which
begins at left in the photo above and
extends 30 feet. Olin and Akzona
agreed to this move when asked
by the Quality ’76 Bicentennial
Committee of the Asheville Area
Chamber of Commerce to help im
prove the appearance of downtown
Asheville.
