XXII, No. 2 SECOND QUARTER, 1976 FILM PLANT WINS BEST IN OLIN Film Division’s cellophane plant at Pisgah Forest was judged to have the best acci dent prevention program in all of Olin Corporation. Results of the second annual competition between Olin’s four groups were announced June 22 during the Senior Management meeting at Stam ford. Congratulations to all plant employees were extended by John D. Link, Film Division’s vice president and general man ager, following telephone noti fication of the “Best in Olin” award. “I would like to extend my personal congratulations to all employees who made the se lection of the Pisgah Forest film plant possible,” Link said. “You should all be extremely proud to receive this recogni tion from our chief executive office. Well done!” EMPLOYEES HAVE MAJOR ROLES IN AREA Company and Union officers proudly display the many trophies and awards won in recent weeks by the Pisgah Forest plants for their ac complishments in safety and loss prevention. CELEBRATION OF NATION’S BICENTENNIAL Service Photos Begin This Issue As others have done throughout the company, employees of the Fine Paper and Film Group looked far ahead to this July 4 weekend, in grateful observance of this coun try’s birthday. This second quarter issue is deliberately of a strong Bicentennial influence, especially as shown through employees’ ser vice photos, as a way of augment ing the celebration. High light of the Pisgah Forest activities is the annual Fourth of July employees' picnic at Camp Harry H. Straus, this year the 35th time for employees to gather at the popular recreation area for races, relays, baby parade, sports tournaments, musical entertain ment and the like.
