RETIRES Artee Norman retired November 11 from the janitoral staff after 31 years of service. A native of Lin colnton, Ga., he attended schools in McCormick, S. C. He worked 18 years with Carr Lumber Co. at Pisgah Forest before joining Olin. He has worked also as a minister for about 15 years and for two years has been pastor of the Glade Creek Baptist Church. In addition, he has been active in various church organizations. Favorite activities also include fishing, hunting and gardening. He was married to the late Lugenia Mooney Norman of Glade Creek. He has one daughter, Shelby Jean Norman, who is employed in Ecus- ta Finishing.
