Awards Night Program Hehl The eighth annual Awards Night program was held at the Lewisville School auditorium on the evening of May 18. A de lightful program was provided by members of the Variety Club. James Carter was the master of ceremonies and Bobby Kiger was accompanist. Awards were made to mem bers of athletic teams, contest winners, and others who partici pated in school activities. Reginald Koontz was award ed the most valuable player award in both football and base- ball. Norma Jean Harkin won the girls most valuable player award for the second year. Ken neth Hauser won this honor for boys basketball. Eddie Hauser was recognized as the outstanding member of the band for the past school year. Recital At School The piano students taught by Mrs. G. G. Reynolds at her home will give a recital at the school auditorium Thursday Night, May 31, at 8 o’clock. The fol lowing persons will appear on the program: Suzanne Jones, Gordene McMordie, Bobby Kiger, Mary Lou Perryman, Kathy Waddell, Janie Martin, Emily Williams, Sharon Oliver, Stan ley Mock, Martha Oliver, Wiley Mock, Jack Kiger, Shirley Hutch ins, Tona Jennings, Toni Trivet te, Judy Mock, Cary Hurtt, Louise Trivette, Peggy Cook, Phyllis Tilley, Buddy Cook, Bon nie Conrad, Michael Jennings, Eugene Strupe, Mike Conrad, Dinah Holder, Judy Ann Damer on, Carolyn Conrad, Dare Hol der, Bonnie Hicks, Doris Hickg and Mrs. R. M. Hicks. The program was directed by students Mortie Stimpson and Suzanne Taylor.
