Any woman married or single-presiding in, Wilmington or within the confines of the territory outlined in the district above mentioned, Is eligible to compete in this contest- A young woman does not have to be a subscriber to The Morning Star in order to enter. . All that is necessary is to send in . the name and address with assurance that the person entering is in good standing. . , f ' CONTEST No. 2FQR BOYS. There will be six winners or prizes at the cloae of the contest, and the highest 'votes will be ttue ones to carry off the prizes. : r :,. . v. The city of Wilmingtohx has been entered as one district in this contest, and outside territory another district. . . The young man who -receives, the largest number of votes in the city of Wilmington will receive $50.00 in cash. 'The young man receiving the largest number of votes outside of the city of Wilmington will receive $50 in cash. , The second highest both, insidf the city of Wilmington; also outside will each receive a Handsome Gold Watch. , The third highest in the city ofWilmington will receive aVatch, and the third highest outside of the city of Wilmington will receive a Watch. This makes two districts tor "the young men's contest, and. each district will receive three$riz. s. at'the close of the contest, making six prizes to be awarded on the day this contest closes, November 7th. Rules rGoverning Both Contests. No employe of The Morning Star, or member of his or her family, will be permitted to enter the contest. - f . Any question which may come up before the contest management will be decided by them; and mat decision will be final. After the first publication of names, they will appear daily, but no contestant may cast mor than 5,000 votes at one time, until further notice. It will jiot be possible for any one contestat to win more than one of these thirty-four prizes. Gather as many of these as you can and vote tuem accordingly. Each contestant entering is entitled to but one of the nominating blanks which Silso-appear daily, and which starts the contestant out with 2,000 votes to his or her credit. . Another way to secure votes is to procure subscriptions to the Morning Star. Votes will be allowed on all subscriptions of four months or over, whem paid in advance.
