L. station, in course of con struction, gave way under the weight of tons of cement, precipitating five or six car loads of the stuff to the ground below. No one was injured, but had the wreck occurred during the week, it would have undoubtedly caused the death of six or eight work men who are constantly employed where the collapse occurred.
