Feb. 11 The new ly created agricultural board of Cum berland county will operate a 20-acre farm in each township of the county as the best method of bringing to the observation of the farmer a properly balanced and diversified system of farming. The far mwill be cultivated under the direct supervision of the state department of agriculture and the county demonstration agent, at the ex- 1 pense of the owner of the land, the ! crop going to the owner. The "bill of fare" for such a farm us adopted by the board, is as follows: Not over seven ares in cotton and tobacco; seven acres in corn, with soy and velvet beans; three acres in spring oats, with hay crop to follow;- one acre in peanuts; one acre soy beans for seed or hay; one-half, acre in sweet potatoes, and one-half acre in garden truck for home. use. .
