Tonight at midnight the big first pe riod votes will be out of existence and the op portunity to quickly pile up votes will be for ever gone. Don’t fool yourself into thinking that bonus votes will be given during the later periods. This is a plan campaign and will be strictly conducted according to rules as announced in the opening issue. Those who wait—“as they think”—to take advan tage of the bonus votes will oiSy wait to be disappointed for such votes will not be given. If you wish to wjin one of the four cars you must take advantage of these big first per riod votes which will last but a few hours longer. These remaining few hours will*de cide your fate or enable you to cinch your choice of the four large and fine cars. This is the time to do some real thinking. Take your pencil in hand and figure this out for yourself—One six-year subscription now will bring you 360,000 votes. If it is new it will bring you 360,000 extra votes, on the basis of 60.000 votes for each year. Then remember, too, that these votes are good only during the first period and will not be given after Mon day night. Add the club votes to the total you already have and it will give you a total of 1.020.000 votes. Two of these subscriptions would bring you 2,040,000—three of them 3 would bring you 3,060,000—six of them would bring you over 6,100,000 votes. And ten of them would bring you well over ten million votes—a vote total that is to be highly de sired, and rarely to be had. It may be that you will need just a few of these longer term subscriptions to put you'in the lead this all important first period—before the votes are literally slashed to pieces. Why not play on the safe side and go after them? Isn’t it be cause candidates do not ask for longer than a year they receive no longer? Or if they do ask for longer, they only expect a year in reality, and then when the prospect says he is willing to give a year the candidate realizes his or her expectations and then walks away satisfied for the candidate has received all that he or she expected? More determination and higher expectations would make quite a few of these small subscriptions real long subscriptions—and although it requires a lit tle longer time to secure him—isn’t it really worth the time after all? Now with but a very few hours left in which to satisfy your desires, don’t be satisfied with real small sub scriptions, but'try your very best to secure a few of the longer and winning subscriptions. Now go to it—and the best of. luck to all! DISTRICT No. 2 Mrs. J. W. Batson ... Miss Louise Belden... Mr. F. P. Blanchard.... Mr.Vance Bounds . Mrs. W, M. Brinson .. Miss Minnie'Bryan...
