McAllister Carson, chairman of the college’s board of trustees, named Harry L. Dalton to head the campaign aimed at raising funds in Charlotte and eventually in other sections of North Caro lina and South Carolina to provide new buildings and other facilities for the college. Dalton indicated that the cam paign, scheduled to start in the spring, would attempt to provide [facilities for 6S0 girls, approxi mately 200 above the present en. rollment. Among the new facilities need ed, he said, were an auditorium, modern heating plant, gymnasi um, library and chapel. 1 Two air stations formerly oper ated by the Navy have been trans ferred to the U.
