PREPARED TO FACE THE FUTURE! The Boy Scout motto is “Be Prepared” and in this year of transition, it has a deeper, fuller mean ing than ever in its history. For in 1946, the Scouts of the world are preparing to face the future— of building a new world—one in which construction—and not destruction—is the goal. A future that knows only peaceful living, where every man is a brother to every other man regardless of his race, creed or color. It is the youth of today that will be the world leaders of tomorrow.
