With Soda and Alkalizers
Don’t expect to get real relief from headache;
sour stomach, gas and bad breath by taking
soda and other alkalizers if the true cause of
your trouble is constipation.
In this case, your real trouble Is not in the
itomach at all. But in the intestinal tract
where 80% of your food is digested. And when
the lower part gets blocked food may fail to
digest properly.
What you want for real relief is some
thing to “unblock” your lower intestinal tract.
Something to clean it out effectively—help
Nature get back on her feet.
Get Carter's Pills right now. Take them as

Commissioners Delay
Action On Columbus
School Bond Election
Special to The Star
WHITEVILLE, Nov. 6—The Co
lumbus county board of commis
sioners Monday decided to delay
further consideration of calling a
million dollar school bond election
asked by the board of education
pending the new administrative
term to begin in December when
three new members will become
members of the board.
The education board had re
quested that the bond election be
called in order to expand the
county’s educational equipment.
Consensus of opinion among the
commissioners was that since three
new members will be on the board
within 30 days, they should, be
given a voice in the decision.
Add two tablespoons of lertion
juice to one quart of boiling water
to keep cauliflower, corn, rice and
potatoes white.
