WEEK ENDING SATURDAY, TULY 17 1948 PERSONALS Mr. i-.tid Mrs. Daiqn freeman and Mrs Lena Jones entertained infor mally last Saturday evening at a surprise birthcay party honoring their daushbet and granddaugiitn, Mi Donnie Williamson. They were assisted by Mis Otis Houston and Miss Alice Luton. The entertainment consisted of a period of (fames after which the dinner, including chicken salad, po tato chips, fruit punch, cake, ice ("tam mints and nuts, was served The main table was centered bj a lovely arrangement of gladioli, carnations and fern balanced by a beautifully decorated birthday cake • m dthe surrounding smaller tables were decoraetd with mixed summer ;lowers matching others that were located throughout the house.
